Diabetes Advanced Practice Nurse

Job Summary: Provides patient and staff support for the diabetes and 
glycemic control
program. Provides timely education for patients, is the resource for 
nurses, and gives clinical
direction to medical house staff as needed. Provides support and 
direction, in conjunction
with Medical Director, for Inpatient Diabetes Program to impact 
length of stay reduction efforts
and to promote evidenced-based practice and quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Current State of Michigan license as a Registered Nurse; advance 
license as a Nurse
Practitioner desirable.
* Master of Science in Nursing Degree required.
* Experience in diabetes/glycemic management.
* Certified Diabetes Educator, desirable.
