Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX
Job Type: Full Time, Federal Government position. No weekend or 
holiday hours, no on-call,

Job Description:
Nurse Practitioner to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team 
for the Army Physical
Fitness Research Institute (APFRI) at the US Army Sergeants Major 
Academy Annex at
Ft. Bliss, TX. Provides health and fitness assessments and 
interventions to senior military
leaders.

Coordinates and administers comprehensive health and fitness 
evaluations while providing
follow-up case management and intervention programs. Coordinates a 
wide variety of health
services, to include assessment of risk factors for chronic and acute 
diseases, with
emphasis on cardiovascular disease, provides health education along 
with intervention and
monitoring behavioral changes to promote optimal health practices, 
provides referrals and
follow up. Works closely with a multi-disciplinary team of health 
professionals including a
physical therapist, dietitian, exercise physiologists, nurses and 
clinical psychologist as well
as administrative staff.
