University of South Carolina Division of 
Neurosurgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or
Physician Assistant to join our practice. Our 
service offers comprehensive, cutting edge care
to general and trauma neurosurgery patients, 
including some pediatrics. Services include
trauma coverage, interventional radiology, and 
Gamma Knife, in addition to general
neurosurgical care.

We are seeking a dynamic self-starter to join our 
group. Primary responsibility will be
management of our inpatient census, as well as 
seeing new consults and admits, daily
rounds, and coordinating discharges and 
transfers. Some clinic work, and first assist
opportunities may be available. Future 
opportunities for teaching and research may also be
available.

NP’s should be able to see adult and peds 
patients. Ideal candidates will be board certified
in Family Practice with recent critical care 
experience, or board certified in Acute Care and
have either taken or be willing to take pediatric 
training. PA’s should be board certified as well.
Past neurosurgical and/or critical care experience a plus.
