Nurse Practitioner - Nephrology

UMPhysicians, Minneapolis, MN, provides 
exceptional, patient-centered care while advancing

independent not-for-profit organization,
with staff working across disciplines in primary 
and specialty care areas. Our multi-specialty
practice represents a remarkable depth and 
breadth of expertise and patients benefit from an
interdisciplinary team approach to diagnosis and treatment.

We seek a full-time NP–Nephrology to manage 
dialysis patients under defined protocols,
including dialysis and health maintenance care. 
Responsibilities: diagnose and treat patients
with complications under supervision of attending 
physicians; maintain up-to-date medical
records; perform preoperative H&P for CKD and 
dialysis; and attend Division conferences,
Transplant Program conferences and meetings. Will 
also serve as primary contact for dialysis
nurses and patients, coordinate care with 
subspecialists and perform a supportive role to
primary nephrologists for home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.

Qualified candidates will have completed a 
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
program, be certified (or eligible) for 
certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
and be licensed or eligible in the state of 
Minnesota. Previous experience in nephrology, CKD,
ESRD/dialysis is preferred.
