EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN COASTAL FLORIDA FOR NNPS TO WORK IN A NEWLY BUILT
CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL!! The hospital is state of the art in NICU design 
as well as structural
design. 97 bed Level II-III NICU--18 of those beds are devoted to an 
admission unit for babies
to be assessed and stabilized prior to admission into the NICU. An 
Outpatient Care Center is
across the street connected by bridges. NNPs provide patient care in 
the Level II and Level III
as well providing coverage for high risk deliveries. A neighboring 
medical center has moved its
entire Woman and Infant Services to the third floor of the 9 story 
Children's Hospital. The NNPs
are divided into teams with 3 NNPs. Each NNP primaries 6-8 babies. 
Each team consists of a
Neonatologist, NNPs, discharge nurse specialist, case manager, social 
worker and a
nutritionist. No transport responsibility. The NNPs participate in 
research projects and teach
S.T.A.B.L.E, NRP, etc. The unit is 90% at using electronic medical 
records and they do
Computerized Provider Orders. Salaried exempt position; schedule 
consists of 10 hour days
and 16 hour nights. Salary based upon Advance Practice experience. 
WILL HIRE NEW
GRADUATES AND PNPS WITH NICU EXPERIENCE.
