Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner
Full-time or Part-time

St. Luke's Behavioral Health Center, a 124-bed facility located on 
the St. Luke's campus in
sunny Arizona, offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient 
services. St. Luke's Behavioral
Health Center serves seniors, adults, adolescents and children 
requiring psychiatric and
chemical dependency care. Individualized treatment plans are 
developed through a collaborative
effort between each patient and our caring and experienced staff. We 
maintain a holistic
approach to treatment that addresses each person's physiological, 
psychological, spiritual
and social needs.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for independently coordinating and communicating patient 
care activities with
health care team members and appropriate departments, including 
Assessment, Transfer,
Physician Orders and Rounds as required by the AZ Board of Nurses. 
The pace and
environment are dynamic so professional flexibility is important.

Requirements:
Will accept Nurse Practitioners with either Pediatric NP experience 
who have experience
working in psych, or Psychiatric NP with experience working with 
children. Masters or DNP
prepared. Would consider a new grad psych NP who had 2+ years prior 
experience as a Psych
Registered Nurse. AZ licensure requirements for prescriptive 
authority and DEA must be met.
All AZ Board of Nursing requirements must be met. Working one weekend 
per month is required.
Rotating evening call is also required.
