*Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner*

Touro University California a rapidly growing university offering graduate
educational programs in Health Sciences and Education located on Mare 
Island; is
currently seeking a Temporary Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner with 
potential for
full time for its family medicine clinic in the Glen Cove area of Vallejo.

*Reports to: Medical Director *

*POSITION DESCRIPTION:*
The Nurse Practitioner will assist physicians and other nursing 
personnel in the
delivery of primary health care and patient care. Our patient population 
ranges
from pediatric to geriatric. Duties include, but are not limited to: 
Assess, plan and
provide patient care. Perform patient examinations, compile appropriate 
patient
information and documentation. Review patient reports and make appropriate
recommendations, refill medications, and assist with triage of patients. 
Potential
option of teaching of various students including DO's, NP's, PA's and 
Pharmacy.

*REQUIREMENTS:*
Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, national 
board
certification, current NP and furnishing license, and familiarity with 
concepts,
practices and procedures in Family Medicine. Experience preferred in Family
Medicine.
