CCMS is looking for Nurse Practitioners to provide clinical services 
to the Urgent Care Clinic at
the William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) in El Paso, TX.

Positions are full time and full benefits are available including 
health, dental, paid time off,
holiday pay, shift differentials, 401k, Aflac.

Part time positions may be considered.

Scheduled hours to include working off-shifts, nights and/or 
holidays. The Urgent Care Clinic at
WBAMC operates 24/7.

Job Duties to Include:
1) The Nurse Practitioner shall perform all procedures commonly 
performed by a Nurse
Practitioner in a Urgent Care setting. Some of the most common 
diagnoses/conditions are the
following:
*Fever
*Headache
*Otitis Media/Externa
*Conjunctivitis
*Viral Syndrome
*Pharyngitis (strep and viral)
*Tonsilitis
*Vomiting and Diarrhea
*Acid Reflux Disease
*UTI
*Skin Rashes
*Sprains, strains, and fractures
*Medication Refills

2) Provide medical examination, care and treatment to patients.

3) Provide medical care and treatment of communicable diseases and/or 
injuries.

4) Seek consults when appropriate.

5) Initiate requests for tests, e-rays, and admissions to the 
hospital, as needed.

6) Follow-up on abnormal lab reports.

7) Prescribe medications, as appropriate.

8) Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as needed.

9) Make preliminary interpretation of radiographs to include MRIs and 
CT scans.

10) Review medical histories and progress of patients. Examine 
patients, make diagnosis of
disease, disaster or injury, and treat patient or prescribe a course 
of treatment.

Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements:
1) Graduate of an US accredited Masters level nursing program.
2) Hold a current RN and NP state license
3) ANCC certification or through the NCC
4) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
5) Must have at least 2 years experience working as a Nurse 
Practitioner in Family Medicine

Nurse Practitioner must remain current and achieve required 
continuing education units.
