ARNP - Plastic Surgery

The University of Kansas Physicians, the largest multi-specialty 
medical practice in the Kansas
City area, is seeking a full time ARNP to join the Department of 
Plastic Surgery:

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our multi disciplinary 
team of plastic surgeons,
trauma/critical care surgeons and 2 nurse practitioners to work in 
burn and wound surgery.
The candidate will work in both our newly remodeled burn and wound 
clinic managing burns,
complex wounds and performing surgery follow up as well as in the 
burn unit managing both
critically ill and noncritical burn patients.

The ideal candidate will be board certified by the ANCC as a Family 
Nurse Practitioner with a
background in critical care. Additionally, the candidate must be able 
to function with a high
degree of autonomy in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The 
candidate must obtain
ACLS, ABLS, ATLS and DEA licensing within six months of hire. The 
call responsibility will be
one day per week and one weekend per month.

The salary is competitive nationally and there is additional 
opportunity for production bonuses.
Allowances for CEU's and licensing are covered by the department. The 
comprehensive benefits
package includes medical, dental, retirement, and flex-spending.
