*Nurse Practitioner | Inpatient Orthopedics | Flagstaff, Arizona*

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner experienced in Orthopedics for our new
inpatient provider role. As a nurse practitioner you will provide 
expertise in the care
of Orthopedic to patients and address the inpatient care needs of 
patients with
Orthopedic Conditions. This role will eventually include inpatients on 
all orthopedic
services: Critical Care, Hospitalists, Pediatric, Spine and Trauma 
Services, and
Emergency Department.

*Overview:*
As our Inpatient Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner you will work with the 
orthopedic
surgeons and other providers to improve elective services. You will 
design and
implement joint and spine protocols. Depending on the provider hired 
this person
may help out more with the Trauma service line. These our our top 
priorities:
Goal #1: Improve Patient Satisfaction. Goal #2: Design and implement 
Protocols
and be the barrier to variance in care. Full job description will be

**Pay and Benefits:**
**Pay range $90k - $125k based on experience*
Pay time-and-half for every hour over 42 hours a week worked

*Qualifications:*
*Minimum 1-2 year orthopaedic experience.
*Nurse Practitioners must have completed a certified Surgical Assistant 
Course or
equivalent and demonstration of skills necessary for safe and competent 
care of the
surgical patient.
*Orthopaedic Trauma care experience
*Fracture/Dislocation closed reduction experience beneficial
*Casting and Splinting experience beneficial

*Schedule:*
40 hrs/week of work. M-W: 6:00a – 4:00p; TH & F 6:00a – 12:00pm
Some call responsibilities will be discussed.
