There is an opportunity for a PNP with acute care training in an 
inpatient environment to
join the Inpatient Medical Unit team at this leading academic children's 
hospital. The PNP
in this role is responsible for managing the care of assigned patients 
including admission
histories and physicals, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic 
interventions and assessing,
implementing and evaluating patient plans of care. The PNP in the 
medical unit is an
education resource, consultant, and mentor and represents the role of 
the advanced
practice nurse in departmental and organizational initiatives. MSN with 
National Board
certification in one of four APRN roles, acute care, PALS, NRP and ACLS 
certifications
