*General Surgical Nurse Practitioner (Clinic Based Setting) --Portland, 
Oregon
(New/Recent Graduates with strong Surgical RN Background Considered) Must
be Oregon Licensed*

We are seeking a General Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join a well 
respected
surgical practice comprised of 3 general surgeons. The Clinic Director 
would prefer
an experienced Surgical Nurse Practitioner, but would consider a strong new
graduate with a strong surgical /post post operative background. The 
Surgical Nurse
Practitioner's primary role is to function in the clinic managing new 
and existing
patients as well as rounding on post-op patients. This position is a 
non-surgical,
clinic based position but the Surgeons require someone with a strong 
Surgical NP/
RN background as they do not have the time to train someone that is not 
well versed
in surgical patient management. The clinic hours are Mon-Fri 
8:30am-5;00pm with
no weekends or call responsibilities. The Nurse Practitioner will work 
with a variety
of pre-op and post- op patients ranging from Orthopaedics, General, 
Vascular and
Peripheral Vascular etc. The Nurse Practitioner will be compensated 
based on
experience but the salary range is $95,000-$110,000+ (Depending Upon
Experience), plus incentive bonuses, full Medical, Dental, Vision, CME 
and CME
allowance, covered malpractice and all dues fees and licensure paid for 
as well.
