Practitioner or Physician Assistant--Critical Access Hospital -- West, 
Texas
(Loan Repayment Eligible Site)*

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to 
work in a
critical access setting in West, Texas. The Provider would be working in 
the family
practice clinic Mon-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm) and managing an estimated 20
patients per day while covering the ER for patient admits. The ER is low 
volume,
but high acuity with approximately 400 admits per month. Most patients are
stabilized and shipped to Lubbock or El Paso for severe trauma. There is 
a high
number of Hispanic patients so a Bi-Lingual provider would be a big 
plus! There
would be Physician support in the ER (on-site) and back-up in the clinic 
as well for
consults. Base salary is $60-$65 per hour with full benefits including 
Medical,
Dental Vision and 401K. Signing Bonus of $5,000 for a one year 
commitment and
relocation allowance of $8,000 paid with receipts. 4 weeks paid vacation 
and 1
week paid CME with a $3,000 CME allowance. This location qualifies for 
Federal
Loan Repayment through the NHSC (High HRSA/ HPSA Rating) and would provide *
$30,000 per year to the Provider's student loans* (Minimum of a two year
commitment Required). The location is rural in nature with a large 
community
within 1.5 hours
