*Responsibilities include:
* Taking comprehensive health histories
* Performing physical exams and mental status evaluations
* Diagnosing and managing common acute and chronic illness, based on 
service
protocols and in collaboration with Attending Physicians
* Ordering, reviewing and evaluating lab and other diagnostic tests
* Obtaining and referring appropriate consultations
* Providing counseling and education to patients and their families
* Performing minor procedures such as EKG, IV, Phlebotomy, Injections, NG
Tubes, etc
* Handling other related functions as necessary*

To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, 
have a NY
State RN License, and possess current NYS NP credentials *along with
Certification/Training in Adult Mental Health.*
