Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT is seeking 
Nurse Practitioners for our Emergency Department. Per Diem and Full Time 
positions available. The NP is responsible for complete care to stable 
patients in the ED including treatment/documentation of acute/chronic 
conditions . The NP is also responsible for diagnosis, treatment and 
referrals using available technologies and therapeutics common to the ED.

New graduates are welcome to apply. One year primary care experience and 
urgent care experience preferred. Must be currently licensed in VT to 
practice with prescriptive authority. Must be currently certified by the 
American Nurses Association as a Family Nurse Practitioner. ACLS

The ED is staffed by Physicians, NP’s and RN’s and sees a volume of just 
under 14,000 visits annually. Hospitalist service and pediatricians are 
available for admissions, OB and specialist on-call 24/7, and transfers 
to nearby tertiary care facilities are seamless with excellent EMS 
transfer service capabilities.
