Work hours: 9 hour shift, 4 days per week.

diagnostic services.

Graduate of a nationally certified NP or CNS program of Advanced 
Practice Nurse Master's degrees. Ability to perform CPR. Clinical 
preceptorship in Medical Oncology and/or a minimum of five years in 
clinical oncology nursing. Current Delaware RN and State Licensure as an 
advanced practice nurse. Active national certification by the American 
Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or The American Academy of Nurse 
Practitioners (AANP). Compliance with evolving criteria for 
recertification by the ANA Council of Nurses in Advanced Practice 
including documentation of active practice performance and appropriate 
continuing medical education. Occasional ability to respond to and 
withstand crisis situations.

This individual serves as a comprehensive health care provider providing 
follow-up care, assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic procedures within 
the scope of advanced nursing practice in collaboration with Beebe 
Medical Center employed Medical Oncology physicians. Manages care given 
to Beebe Medical Center clients during outpatient clinic visits and 
inpatients when requested. Functions within approved scope and 
credentials as approved by Beebe Medical Center policies. Follow(s) 
established nursing standards, procedures, guidelines and protocols and 
gives specific patient care directions to patients, families, nursing 
and other staff when appropriate.
