ARNP Signature Authority Bills

As you may know, the ARNP signature authority companion bills HB 1259/SB 5682 have continued to advance since our last update.   

To become law, these bills must pass additional critical steps and receive a signature from Governor Inslee. Your voice matters and could make the critical difference in streamlining care for our patients and authorizing ARNPs to sign and attest to documents within their scope of practice.

Medicinal Cannabis and Chronic Pain Project
A Science-Based Online Training for Clinicians in Times of Legalization

Legalization has brought increased public attention to cannabis and its medicinal properties. This training provides you with up-to-date information on the use of medicinal cannabis for the treatment of chronic pain in two online modules. The first is a basic primer on the mechanism of action of medicinal cannabis, its medical uses, and Washington State law. The second focuses on the best clinical practices associated with the recommendation of medicinal cannabis. This training provides useful tools for healthcare providers in their discussion with patients about the use of medicinal cannabis in the treatment of chronic pain.
