Country Doctor Community Health Centers must fill a .55 FTE MD or ARNP 
position
at their Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center site. Work with dedicated 
staff, serving
diverse, underserved patient population.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The MD or ARNP will provide acute, chronic and well patient care in a 
community
health center setting. This position will work within a 
multi-disciplinary health care
team providing care to meet clinic goals for quality care and patient 
satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:

* Obtaining appropriate patient history
* Perform focused and complete physical examinations
* Cost-effectively ordering appropriate lab tests
* Evaluate findings from history/physical exam/lab data and make an 
appropriate
diagnosis
* Appropriately treat medical illnesses and provide well person care in 
a primary
care setting
* Participate in staff meetings and the staff evaluation process
* Appropriately refer to physician or specialty care when needed.

EDUCATION/TRAINING for Physicians:
* Board certified or Board eligible in Family Practice or Internal 
Medicine/Pediatrics
* Licensed in the State of Washington

EDUCATION/TRAINING for ARNP:
Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program; State license; National 
certification; and
prescriptive authority are required

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years family practice experience in a community health center 
and/or
underserved patient setting; ARNP must be FNP, not adult NP.

ABILITIES:
* Evaluate findings from history/physical exam/lab data and make an 
appropriate
diagnosis
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
* Treat patients in accordance with the mission and philosophy of the 
clinic
